[00:00:48] Denisha: Let's kick off our conversation with Ty Finley. Welcome to Living the Reclaim Life podcast. I'm Danisha. We're glad you're here for conversations that revive hope, [00:01:00] inspire healing, and encourage you to live a vibrant life with Christ. So grab a cup of coffee as we chat with today's guest. In today's episode, I am so excited to introduce you to Ty Finley.

[00:01:15] Denisha: She's the author of the book Let Go, which you are going to love Reclaimers. It is such a huge part of our reclaiming our story, of letting go of things that we no longer need, releasing the grip of your past. And grab a hold of your future. And Ty Finley is also a blogger at Talk 40 to me. So Ty, we are so excited to have you on today and I think this is gonna be a great conversation.

[00:01:44] Ty: Thank you. I'm excited to be here. Thank you so much Tanisha.

[00:01:48] Denisha: So you just released your book, Let Go and I'll bet you didn't just out of nowhere write a book. You started with a blog called Talk 40 Timmy, which [00:02:00] I love because I think my whole life at bred when I approached 40 . So tell what came first and how did God move you through this to, to begin this part of your.

[00:02:12] Ty: Okay. So I have to say that Talk 40 to me was birth first. And that was birthed through a time of I wouldn't necessarily say just trauma, but it was a Covid just started. My daughter was a runaway, declared, missing person for a bit. My life just came to this big halt all at once, and I had a blog years ago and I wanted to start it again.

[00:02:43] Ty: I really felt like it was God telling me to start it again, but not to be afraid to make it public. . And as I was thinking of names I had just turned 40 a few months prior to that and I thought I don't want it to just represent us being 40 as [00:03:00] women, because sometimes I would get women saying, I'm 30, I can't read that.

[00:03:03] Ty: I'm 50. And I'm like no, . It's for all of us. But yes, it does have to do with us being in our forties too, because I feel like we're at an age where we really can appreciate and realize what's really happening. From the past where we're going forward, but then God showed me how the number 40 represented test and trials.

[00:03:22] Ty: And so when we're talking 40, we're talking test. We're talking trials, we're talking temptations, and then we're seeing even through the midst of the trials, even through the midst of the test, that God has still promised us victory. And God has still promised that we'll overcome. And so God gave me so many references to the number 40.

[00:03:44] Ty: You know how. He fasted for those 40 days and 40 nights. And even though he was in the time of testing and trial, all the victory came. And then we have Moses in his 40 years and then we see how the next [00:04:00] 40 years just how his life just completely transforms. And there were just so many instances.

[00:04:05] Ty: And so talk 40 to me is a representation of the trials, the. The trauma, but the victory that we can overcome and that we can be who God created us to be. And Talk 40 to me was birth first. And through that I had already been working on a book. But I wasn't too sure where to go, what direction, what God wanted me to do.

[00:04:31] Ty: And then as I was healing from trauma that I thought I was totally delivered from God is showing me like, Yeah, you need a little help there. And as. Going through my trauma and I'm healing, but as I'm helping my daughter to heal, God is let go. But it's not just for me to let go. I believe that God brought it full circle for me to help other women who were going through something super identical who were [00:05:00] struggling with.

[00:05:01] Ty: Unforgiveness or shame or regret or fear or letting manipulative people control them because of what they represented and God is like, It's time for us to let go of that. And so then let go was birthed.

[00:05:16] Denisha: Amen. I love that. I love that so much. I can really testify to the fact that around 40 it is really test trials, temptations, all of that.

[00:05:26] Denisha: I remember mine the entry point to that was in my late thirties and I did start to feel all of those things. And I think there's even some scientific evidence that around that time in our lives that we begin to start to unpack or reconcile our past. And I know for me, there was a lot that I had shoved under the rug that I never, or things I thought, like you said, things I thought I'd been delivered from.

[00:05:50] Denisha: And the next thing you know, my late thirties, early forties, I started tripping over that rug. And it was like God was saying, Be brave, be courageous to lift it up [00:06:00] and begin to look under what's underneath that rug. Because I'm with you in that.

[00:06:04] Ty: Yes. Oh, amen. That's good.

[00:06:08] Denisha: Yeah. And that's what it sounds like with Let Go.

[00:06:11] Denisha: So Talk 40 to me, which is an amazing blog. You guys, I really recommend that you go and check that out on Talk 40 to And as you, so you do this blog, you're working on your book, and how, tell us about the book. How did you get to, how did you come to the part of naming it Let Go and just the theme of the book.

[00:06:31] Ty: One of my friends, she reached out to me about a year ago and she says, I'm going through a lot of trauma. I have a lot of pain that I'm going through. I'm depressed. I'm this, I'm that. Do you have any blogs that can help me? And I'm thinking like, Do I ? And so I'm going through a few of the blogs and I said, Okay, I think this one will help.

[00:06:56] Ty: We touched on it here. We did this here and [00:07:00] then God said There's a few blogs that you had that may have touched on this, but he said, You can expound on that so people can be free. And so I sat on the idea for a few months because one thing was I really wanted to make sure I heard from God.

[00:07:19] Ty: And I think sometimes we're really gung-ho Oh yeah, that's God, I'm gonna go for it. And then sometimes, depending on what's happened in your past, you might be like I don't know if I heard God right the last time, so I'm gonna be a little more cautious, and so I sat on it, but like I said, for a few months, and then God just kept just kept chipping away at me Go ahead and do this.

[00:07:41] Ty: And I knew that it was going to deal with trauma, but I didn't want the book. And so it doesn't necessarily go really deep into my life or my past because more than anything, I wanted it to be a place of people knowing that they can have victory, where they can see nuggets that they could relate to [00:08:00] without it getting.

[00:08:01] Ty: So deep into one story that they feel like that's not my story, but just enough where okay, God can deliver, God can heal, God can forgive you can forgive yourself, you can move on, you can be free. And I really sat down at the beginning of this year and I had this goal in mind and it was like July.

[00:08:22] Ty: So talk 40 to me's anniversary was July two year anniversary. And so the goal was to have it published and to have it ready. And then it was June 30th and I finished and I thought, We're not gonna be published in time . But you finished. That's amazing. Yeah. So you know how you give yourself like deadlines and you're like, You're gonna do this and you're gonna do that.

[00:08:45] Ty: And then life just kept rerouting me and I was just like, No. I said, And I, but I really feel like God always allows everything to happen right when it's supposed to happen. And it's so the book [00:09:00] actually was released in. The beginning of September and then I thought, Oh, I should have shot for October

[00:09:07] Ty: But I love that. It is. It is around the time of fall, so we're in the month of fall. We need all of that baggage to fall off. Let that old season of our life just. Fall away. Go away, drift away. God wants to do something new in this season. And so I believe that even though things don't always happen the way we naturally plant it, it always happens the way God plants it.

[00:09:36] Ty: That's

[00:09:36] Denisha: awesome. And I think a fall too is the leaves fall from the trees when they're no longer they're dried up, they're gorgeous, but they're dried up and they fall from the tree. So the tree can. New. So that's really a beautiful picture as well. What are some of the topics that you hit in Let go?

[00:09:55] Ty: Oh boy, there's so many. There are, That's why [00:10:00] we're gonna get into the juicy part because I think this. Book is just for all of our ladies that are listening. Just such a need. You've hit on so many important topics in here that we all can say Me too. I wrestle with that too, and I think that's so important.

[00:10:16] Ty: Yes. I start with the journey of letting go and it's more my story and how I got to this place and the need to let go. And I struggled from a lot of traumatic events from earlier in my life that I felt that I processed process and I felt that. And I know that God healed our healing sometimes manifests all at once and sometimes it comes little by little because sometimes we can't handle all of what it is at once.

[00:10:48] Ty: It's too much. It's overwhelming. And so God was doing my healing like that of the onion and just, we were just working on it piece by piece, little by little. [00:11:00] And this was a time where it was time to release some of that. Some of that trauma, and not that I wasn't a believer, not that I didn't love God, not that I even knew I was holding onto it.

[00:11:11] Ty: I thought it was far from me and events just triggered and it's it's time. Let this go. Don't hold onto it any longer. And so we talk about letting go, and then we talk about generational curses because a lot of times in the body of Christ, we talk about the generational blessing and. We always wanna encourage people with what God is doing and what God's going to do and that's awesome, but sometimes there are curses and that God has been trying to attack your lineage for years with the same thing.

[00:11:49] Ty: He's trying to stop you from getting to the next level. And if he can use your mom. If he can use your dad, if he can use an uncle it really [00:12:00] doesn't matter. And then somebody tried to stop them. So it's like they, they can't keep going. So now their goal is to stop you. The enemy is if I can just stop every generation, but here, we're gonna let go of those things.

[00:12:12] Ty: We're not gonna let them hold us back. We're gonna move into the call. We're gonna let go of the hurt and the pain and just let God just recreate something in us. We talk about. I say we, I talk about, Cause I say we is me and God. I was gonna say it. It's you and the Holy Spirit. That's what, Yeah, that's it.

[00:12:31] Ty: I could not have done this without God. Not one bit. I tell you that when I would write, it would be like God would take. Take the pen and a lot of times I'd be even crying while I wrote. I'm like, I don't even know how I wrote that because it wasn't me. It was God. He's This is a way for you it's healing you as other people will heal too.

[00:12:50] Ty: We talk about a heart and nobody wants to believe that. [00:13:00] Someone has a hard and heart against you. Who wants to believe that? We wanna believe that everybody is great and awesome and no even God used feral. To harden his heart against the Israelites. He had to do that.

[00:13:16] Ty: And so a lot of times it's not even the enemy who's placed this person to harden their heart. God has done that because he wants to get glory out of your life. And so just looking past, just, it is just helping us to unveil and look at things from different angles. It's really important. I don't know if you want me to go through all of them, Danisha, but there's so many.

[00:13:40] Ty: I know. There's so

[00:13:41] Denisha: many great topics. So you go wherever you feel the Lord leading you, friend .

[00:13:46] Ty: Yeah. Forgive those who've hurt you even when you don't get an apology. I think that's a really big one. If you've ever dealt with any type of trauma, any type of hurt, and you felt like you've gone [00:14:00] through it alone because someone didn't believe you, or someone thought it was your fault, or you caused it on yourself and just knowing that one God believes you, God knows, God sees.

[00:14:11] Ty: And even if you get that apology, And even if you don't, I want you to know you don't need that apology. We believe you. We know that it's real. We know that it happened, and people may try to masquerade and cover because of course once I love Dan's reclaim life and I love the story of redemption, but when people get redeemed, sometimes they forget where they came.

[00:14:39] Ty: And it's No, you still hurt me, . I'm still holding on to this. I'm really trying to let go of it. And that story of redemption is so beautiful, but you have to even redeem yourself. God want, he's redeeming you and you have to be free from that. Whomever didn't believe you, God is gonna set [00:15:00] you up with the right people at the right time.

[00:15:02] Ty: And even if you're just listening to this know that you're heard, you're seen, you're loved, you're enough, you are being redeemed, restored. Oh, I love the reclaimed life and what it stands for, so I know it's about let go right now. God's story of redemption. You just can't get away from that. Love Yourself is one of the chapters and what I really like about the book, it's not a really big book.

[00:15:27] Ty: It's a real easy read. So once you get into it and start, like you can just pick up and go with it, but it's enough nuggets that will help you So you can either go through it I'm not sure if you can finish it in a sitting or two, but go through it or pick the chapters that you feel will speak life to you or go through the whole book and then later go back to what you need.

[00:15:52] Ty: Understanding that you're forgiven and that you're restored. And that's a big thing because sometimes with [00:16:00] guilt that we've held onto, or worse yet, shame we'll go on and we'll forgive individuals who we won't forgive ourselves and you are just as important to forgive. Yeah. Forgive yourself.

[00:16:15] Ty: And then we even deal with taking personal inventory because a lot of times what happens because we're hurt and we're hurting people, we hurt people and we don't do it intentionally. And so it's like taking that inventory and saying, Okay, I may have hurt this person. I didn't mean to do it, and.

[00:16:33] Ty: If you can reach out to that person, great. But if you can't, you know what? You do the work within yourself. You write a letter, you burn it up, you do whatever you have to do, but you release that person and then you pray for them to release you. And it's amazing what God can do in the spirit without you even having to speak to that person.

[00:16:53] Ty: God does tr tremendous things, just like following the spirit and being obedient to what he's speaking to [00:17:00] you through that. We talk about let go of procrastination. I think it's, So I need to read that chapter again. . Yeah. It's so easy to procrastinate on the things that God wants us to do and I think a lot of it is fear driven.

[00:17:23] Ty: And it could be fear driven. Not that you're a fear, a fearful person per se, but because of things that have happened in your life you're procrastinating because maybe this person isn't gonna believe that I can do this, or they're not gonna believe I'm good enough. Our people are not receptive and so sometimes we procrastinate, not so much for ourselves, but because of what we think people are gonna think.

[00:17:51] Denisha: And it's an opinion of people. The opinions of people can hold us back in so many different

[00:17:56] Ty: ways. Yes. And so we [00:18:00] go there next, let go of the opinions of people. Yes. . So we just break it down layer by layer. You have to let go of that opinion of people, the spirit of perfection, people pleasing who are we here to honor?

[00:18:15] Ty: We're here to honor God. And let go of the need to be accepted. Let go of the comparisons. Let go of overthinking. Overthinking is such a huge trap. Because we will sit there and we will rationalize and talk ourselves out of the very thing that God wants to do to bless you, . And it's ugh.

[00:18:39] Ty: And I think some of us do it more than others and overthinking can be just so simple, so subtle. You can be laying in bed and think about a conversation you had yesterday and what you should have said to somebody, . Those woulda,

[00:18:53] Denisha: coulda, should us. We'll get you every time

[00:18:55] Ty: they will. So it's let go of that.

[00:18:59] Ty: Another thing [00:19:00] is let go of trying to be right. And I think that when we've been wronged a lot, we find it I'm not gonna let anybody say I'm wrong again. I'm right. This is what happened. So it becomes this I wouldn't really call it a facade, but it's almost a wall of protection. And it's I'm right.

[00:19:19] Ty: I'm not gonna let anybody knock me down again. I'm not. I'm not. But then it's just, Okay, do you wanna save this relationship because you're on something healthy right now? Or do you wanna be right? Are you gonna let go of that trauma because this person has nothing to do with what's happening right now in this situation.

[00:19:39] Ty: And let go of self doubt because that's another big one. And I think that the shame. That people have carried from the past will make them just doubt themselves so horribly. And it's like God wants to do something good in you. We talk about forks in the road, [00:20:00] and forks in the road is like one of my most favorites, , And I'll tell you why I.

[00:20:08] Ty: I like to hike and I don't get to do it as often as I, I like to, and sometimes I'll just take a drive, but sometimes you'll take a drive and there'll just be a fork in the road. And just like we have that fork in the road and it's okay, father, the GPS can tell you to go one way, but God is like, this is the way that you should go.

[00:20:30] Ty: And so what happens? We have forks in the roads, in relationships with people. And it's not that they're no good for you or you're no good for them, it's just you've journeyed as long as you can go with them, it's time to make that separation and that separation is gonna hurt. Because we don't want to move away from what's familiar and comfortable, but God wants to take us to another level and we can't do that unless we get to [00:21:00] that fork in the road.

[00:21:00] Ty: And you can't always go where everybody's going. You can't always go with popular opinion. You have to do what God says and just wait on him. I talk about separation before elevation. That's another one of my favorites, and that's a really oldie I say it's the old, it's something that God spoke to me like so many years ago, but everybody wants to be elevated without being separated.

[00:21:27] Ty: So the separation. So we people hear if you got a prophecy or God has spoken to your life, and it's so that prophet or prophet is, or that dream or that vision, that's God. Or even the book of Revelations, that's God showing you the ending. . So you see this, God is showing you that he's taking you to this place.

[00:21:50] Ty: He's taking you higher, He's elevated you. And so everybody wants the elevation, but they don't want, from Genesis to Revelation, , they don't want, [00:22:00] they don't want the heartbreak, They don't want they don't want to see people leave. They don't wanna see people hurt them. They don't wanna it's just so much that has to happen.

[00:22:11] Ty: And so when we talk about the separation, you think about being sheltered and. Prior to being separated your love, you're cocooned, you're sheltered, you're just warm, you're comfy, you're comfortable. It's like sitting there with that cozy blanket in your recliner and you don't wanna get up you're watching a good movie.

[00:22:33] Ty: You're just happy and. And then separation comes. And separation can come from learning something about your life that you never knew before that really sets you back. Separation can be a literal separation. It can be a marriage dissolving, it could be a child it could be a host of things.

[00:22:57] Ty: And when I think about separation, I [00:23:00] think of a pregnant woman. And how she's been carrying this child for nine months. But when it's time for that baby to be separated from mom we're not talking about a C-section right here. We're talking about a natural birth. This baby has to go down the birth canal before the baby can come out, and that baby has to go through.

[00:23:25] Ty: It's a stressful time for mom and baby. It's very stressful, but then that she, if that doesn't happen, no separation can come, no elevation can come, that baby can't grow. That baby cannot be what God has called it to be. And so it's like that in our lives. We wanna be sheltered to whomever our friends are, or our church or whatever makes us comfortable.

[00:23:49] Ty: But sometimes you have to go through that birth canal when God wants to elevate you and make you something greater. And you have to go and you're working together, you're working [00:24:00] with God, you're working with the church, you're working with your ministry, but it's painful to go through that birth canal to become who God wants you to be.

[00:24:09] Ty: And so that, that's one of my favorite things I think of

[00:24:13] Denisha: Joseph. Right here. He was at home. He was on his couch, in his beautiful robe that his father had given him. He's the favorite. And then he had to go into the pit, into the prison before God elevated him to the palace. And that really is, I see that in the lives of women we serve.

[00:24:32] Denisha: I see that in the lives of my own life, that separation. That's such a beautiful picture. I love that God shared that with you. Separation before elevation. I love.

[00:24:43] Ty: The battle calls for surrender, that's one of the chapters and. A person who's gone through something, you do not want to surrender.

[00:24:51] Ty: You do not want to give in to the pain. It's like I'm not giving in. But surrender is really not a bad word [00:25:00] because we're surrendering our hearts and our lives to God. And so as we surrender, we're able to really let go. We're really able to just say, You know what, God, I give you all of me. I give you.

[00:25:13] Ty: I give you the good, the bad, the ugly because he can handle all of it. I give it all to, I give it all to God. And what God does when we do that, he's able to go through and heal and he gifts wraps it and he gives it back to you. And now you can present that to somebody else and share how God delivered.

[00:25:34] Ty: And I love it. I love it. We talk about a place called peace. Because there's so much turmoil in the world, but God wants to get us to a place. Once we have that place of surrender, then we can walk in a place of peace and a place of healing. And it doesn't matter what's happening around us and what the world is doing or what our families are doing, or we are [00:26:00] in such a state of.

[00:26:01] Ty: that it doesn't mean you have to go around happy and laughing all the time, but you're just at peace. You know that God's gonna take care of the situation. He's gonna take care of what concerns you. He's gonna take care of others, and just getting to that place of peace, I think that's such a place of authority in God.

[00:26:19] Ty: There's a chapter that just reminds individuals to keep going, not to abort their destiny, and it can become so easy for God to show you the end, and while you're going through it, it gets so difficult. And it's Lord, I want what you have for me. I just don't wanna go through the process.

[00:26:46] Ty: Amen. . Yeah. And but what can happen in that if an individual gives up, they've just aborted the very thing. That God was going to use to serve them and to [00:27:00] bless community and to bless women and to bring hope to, to hurting men, women, children. And so it's if you can just keep going, Don't abort your vision.

[00:27:11] Ty: Don't abort what God is giving you. I talk about moving ahead of God. And we see that in the lives of a lot of people in the Bible, but especially more so in Abraham. You look at Abraham and Sarah, and so they saw the end. God promised that he'd make him a father of many nations, but Abraham and Sarah.

[00:27:34] Ty: Took it upon themselves, Let's get this party started. And I've never done that. Like we've never done that. Taken it upon ourselves, right?

[00:27:43] Ty: And so I went within and I looked at myself and I thought, my God, how many times have I gotten in the way of God? How many times have we as believers got in the way of God You know what, I'm just gonna help you out today

[00:27:59] Ty: Cause you [00:28:00] are slow . And he's I'm not even slow. It's in my perfect timing. And, but with us dealing with time, it's not happening as quick. It's okay, Lord, it's been six. What do you mean? We're still waiting on this? Not moving ahead of God. And even if you have how God can still restore that and he can still bring greatness because whatever he promised is going to come to pass.

[00:28:27] Ty: But we have a little cleanup to do in the middle of that. Another thing is cracked but still usable. That's a chapter and. We're all flawed in some way. We may not wanna admit it to anyone. And if someone sees something that says we're all flawed, you may not get a love alike or a anything on that because then you're admitting that you're flawed.

[00:28:52] Ty: Right? ? Unless you say, Oh, I'm tagging this person, but , , we're. It's always

[00:28:58] Denisha: easier to look out than it is [00:29:00]

[00:29:00] Ty: in right . Exactly. Exactly. But you know what? Even though we're flawed, even though we're cracked, we are still usable. And so when I was thinking about that I thought about Humpty Dumpty. And Humpty Dumpty, he had this great fall and all the Kings army and all the kings men, they couldn't put him back together again.

[00:29:24] Ty: And so I thought about that and this actually, this story came about two years ago when I was making breakfast. And I dropped this egg as I was getting ready to I was in a rush, so I dropped this egg and it fell, but it fell into to the handle of my stove and it was cracked, but nothing oozed. And I thought, you got to be kidding.

[00:29:47] Ty: And God said, That's how your lives are. . I don't let, I don't let everything fall out. You're cracked, but you can still make breakfast , you're cracked. People see your [00:30:00] scars. But I didn't let everything ooz out because if everything ooz out, we wouldn't be here. But we're still here because even though we're cracked, even though we're flawed, God still has a plan.

[00:30:11] Ty: He still has a purpose and it. Mosaic. He just puts it together and when, Or a stain glass window that's been cracked. When you look at it, you don't see a flaw. You just see beauty. And when God's light illuminates it, nobody see those cracks anymore. They don't know what you've been through. They just see the beauty because that's what God does.

[00:30:32] Ty: Amen.

[00:30:33] Denisha: I love that. Love that picture. I love, I'm never gonna, I don't think I'm gonna cook eggs again without thinking about that right there. I.

[00:30:42] Ty: Amen. And I'm going to end with the last chapter. And the last chapter is, I'm proud of you. Now, when you read this , it may not necessarily be the most Christian thing you've ever read.

[00:30:58] Ty: And when I say [00:31:00] that because it's not a bad, it's not a bad thing, but sometimes when. We as Christians are believers. We believe that you have to protect even the person who's manipulated you or done you wrong or taken advantage of you. And even though God has still called you to love them, he has called you to forgive them.

[00:31:25] Ty: He has called you to pray for them. He's called you to be graceful and merciful. He still doesn't want you walking in that wilderness with them for 40 years. And so I'm proud of you. It's just saying, I'm proud of you who got rid of all those people who kept holding you back. All of those people who kept hurting you, all of those people were, they just kept making you feel shamed, where they kept making you feel hurt and broken.

[00:31:55] Ty: And I think sometimes we hold onto them, not because we love to [00:32:00] feel like that, but because it's comfort. , that's all we know. And I sometimes people would much rather have a friend that will use them and take advantage of them in the name of having a friend than to separate themselves and be alone for a moment and wait on God.

[00:32:16] Ty: Even in the relationships or marriages, it's if we just wait on God, we don't have to go through all of the hurt. We're still gonna go through. But it doesn't have to be to that extent. And you know that, that last chapter, I'm proud of you. It's about it's more so like a poem, but it's proud of you for setting boundaries.

[00:32:36] Ty: Proud of you, for protecting yourself, proud of you for seeing that God did not design you to live in a place of hurt. That is not God's plan for you to live in a place of perpetual hurt. And it's so bad for your body. Your body is constantly stressed. You can't relax. You'll have all these sicknesses and diseases.

[00:32:58] Ty: You have to [00:33:00] let them go. And That's let go in a nutshell. , Oh, I

[00:33:06] Denisha: love this. I feel like we got the author's commentary to hear your heart behind each chapter and that all of it is so important. And I just, I love that God has given you these words of encouragement and breakthrough, because even as you're saying this, I'm like, Yep, I'm still working on that people pleasing part.

[00:33:24] Denisha: Yep. I'm still working on that shame part. We're all in process and I think as you mentioned, an onion, there are so many different layers and God knows when we're ready to work on that next layer. And sometimes it's, as we approach our forties, sometimes it's later, and so I just love you. Hit on so many important topics that word reclaimed means to rescue and restore.

[00:33:50] Denisha: And that's what God is in the business of. And in that process of him rescuing us from that undesirable state and restoring us to the natural state that he designed with [00:34:00]purpose and destiny and freedom, that there is a process of letting go. And I think that is such a significant part of reclaiming our stories, is knowing what to let go of and what to hold onto.

[00:34:12] Denisha: Yeah. I thank you for your encouragement, for you just following the Lord in obedience to write this book and to just get it out there. Ty, how can we find you? Because I have a feeling after hearing your heart our listeners are gonna be like, I need to stay connected with this gal. How do we stay in touch with you, Ty,
